The preliminary analysis
Cortex provides clients with mailing services handling millions of documents every single day. But as time goes on, outdated software
and architecture made without foresight created a bloated system which was technically still operable, but was sluggish, prone to errors,
and required heavy training of anyone coming into the company. We were tasked with resolving all of this while ensuring operations still run.
We quickly dispatched a team that analysed their entire network to get a good grasp of the project requirements. We quickly determined that
the system was fairly boilerplate, and over the years accumulated heaps of necessary additions that were slowing everything down. In addition
to this, the main tools they were using were old and outdated, with their internal custom solution severely lacking in features and speed.
So we quickly got to work.
